July’s monthly morning networking event will be a Breakfast Briefing event with networking time followed by an educational and question-and-answer session. Martha Pendergrass, with UNC-Chapel Hill purchasing, and Sherrie Van Rooy of Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina will participate in a panel discussion of how to do business with a large purchaser. Pendergrass and Van Rooy will provide participants with contact information for the staff in their respective organizations responsible for purchasing, and give an overview of the kind of purchases each organization makes as well as whom to contact at each company. The event will end with a Q&A session. Governors Club will host the breakfast and is located at 11000 Governors Drive, off of Mt. Carmel Church Road, in Chapel Hill. No registration required.
