Join us for a Habitat build
On Saturday, April 13th the Chapel Hill Young Professionals will be volunteering with Habitat for Humanity for a build in Hillsborough!
Through the use of volunteer labor and donations of money and materials, Habitat builds homes for families in need. Habitat for Humanity partners with families to create better, healthier, more financially stable lives. Homeowners achieve the strength, stability, and independence they need to build a better future for themselves and their families.
Sign up to build with CHYP! Habitat welcomes volunteers of all skill levels – no construction experience necessary. If you’d like to share a ride that day, Kei Alegria will be organizing rides at your request (keimona@gmail.com). Looking forward to see you at this CHYP volunteering event!
CHYPers can expect to spend the morning receiving training, followed by a construction shift doing various tasks on a Habitat home.
