On Thursday, Jan. 5, join us to hear from the Orange County delegation of the North Carolina General Assembly, including Rep. Verla Insko, Rep. Graig Meyer, and Sen. Valerie Foushee before the 2017 long session begins Jan. 25. The General Assembly convened for several special sessions in December and a new executive is in the Governor’s Mansion. Get the report from Raleigh and ask questions of your representatives, 8-9 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 5.
Charge to the EDPP Committee: To advise the chamber board of directors and professional staff and to inform membership on policy and economic development initiatives that impact our members land business community at large, to advocate for legislation and regulation that benefits the local economy, and engage members in advocacy and the electoral process.
