As summer approaches, many make plans to travel the state or further abroad. Do you ever think about the economic impact of those that visit Chapel Hill? Join us 8-9:30 a.m., Thursday, May 7 at the Chamber's conference room for our monthly Economic Development & Public Policy Committee. We'll hear from Visitors Bureau director Laurie Paolicelli and the NC Restaurant & Lodging Association president Lynn Minges. Come hear about who is visiting us and where they're staying (hint: it's not at a B&B).
Charge to the EDPP Committee: To advise the chamber board of directors and professional staff and to inform membership on policy and economic development initiatives that impact our members land business community at large, to advocate for legislation and regulation that benefits the local economy, and engage members in advocacy and the electoral process.
