Description
We will be hosting Orange County Tax Administrator Dwane Brinson and Chief Appraiser Roger Gunn at our November Economic Development & Public Policy (EDPP) Committee meeting. Revaluation is the process of reappraising all real estate in the County to reflect the current market value and you may see a change in your 2017 property tax bill (for your home OR your business). We hope you can join us at 8 a.m., Thursday, Nov. 3 at the Chamber's large conference room to hear more about the county's 2017 revaluation. Any employee of any Chamber member is invited to attend. In the interim, the county has produced three videos to understand better:
Charge to the EDPP Committee: To advise the chamber board of directors and professional staff and to inform membership on policy and economic development initiatives that impact our members land business community at large, to advocate for legislation and regulation that benefits the local economy, and engage members in advocacy and the electoral process.
