Join us in welcoming Krave at their grand opening & ribbon cutting!
Founded by UNC Chapel Hill alum, Elizabeth Gardner, Krave is a bar and lounge serving relaxing indigenous roots & teas in a chill bar and lounge setting with free wifi & parking.
Krave Kava Bar and Lounge is the newest business to join 2nd Friday ArtWalk, presented by The Chapel Hill Downtown Partnership. 2nd Friday ArtWalk is a tour of artists and events hosted at the Carrboro and Chapel Hill businesses supporting the community’s artists and art scene.
On Friday, May 8, Krave will be having hors d ’oeuvres and free tastings of kava and kratom tea during ArtWalk. In addition, the Carrboro Chapel Hill Chamber of Commerce will officially welcome Krave as a member of the business community with a ribbon-cutting preceding ArtWalk.
The ribbon-cutting takes place at 5:30 p.m., and ArtWalk goes from 6-9 p.m.
Krave is a kava bar and lounge featuring two distinct atmospheres in one venue – a lively Island-inspired bar, as well as a relaxing laid-back lounge. Krave serves exotic root and tea beverages from the South Pacific and Southeast Asia, including kava and kratom teas and several blends of yerba mates.
Krave is open from noon to midnight 7 days a week.
