Join us in celebrating with Green Beagle Lodge, at their ribbon cutting and grand opening!
Green Beagle Lodge, Chapel Hill’s newest pet resort, officially opened its doors on June 24, 2014 but is celebrating 4 months of success with their Grand Opening and ribbon cutting on Thursday, October 30.
The Green Beagle Lodge offers excellence in dog boarding, daycare, grooming and training following the tenets of clean, green, safe and fun for all their canine and feline guests. Their 10,000 square foot custom built lodge is on a wooded 15 acre tract very close to Rte#86 and 40, and minutes from downtown Chapel Hill. The grounds encompass 35,000 sq ft of enclosures and an in ground pool, waterpark and turf covered fields.
“We are happy to be serving this animal friendly community”, said Tammy Purner, co-owner.
“I can’t tell you how much fun we’ve had building this business and getting to know so many wonderful animals and their owners” added Margy Schmidt, co-owner.
Green Beagle Lodge, LLC was established in 2012, and completed construction of their building in June, 2014. Besides the owner team, the Lodge currently has 20 employees. The Lodge has a capacity to board 90 pets. The Lodge offers membership which includes many perks such as discounts and daily access to a private waterpark and dog park.
