Fireside Chats are a continuing series of talks hosted by Launch Chapel Hill and the Eship Center. This series features real talks with real entrepreneurs: the good, the bad, and the ugly of their entrepreneurial journey thus far, not just the shiny success stories. Our third chat features Alex Brandwein, the Founder and Owner of Brandwein's Bagels. In 2018, Brandwein came to UNC to pursue an MBA at the Kenan-Flagler Business School. When he was an MBA student, Brandwein noticed Chapel Hill was missing something: a downtown bagel shop. Join us to hear how this Tar Heel and Launch grad tapped into the UNC entrepreneurship network and moved from working in finance to founding a bagel business.
