Description
Event Description
Becoming a Networked Nonprofit: Perspectives on Social Media StrategySocial media can allow nonprofits to evolve beyond silos to become a networked nonprofit. By creating a social culture, building communities for deeper engagement and learning with your stakeholders and your peers, new ways of work are possible. How does a nonprofit move beyond social media as a communication tool to social media as a way of work? We’ll look at best examples, but the main focus is strategy and how to create a nonprofit that truly embraces social media in all arenas. Come discuss how to begin to build a social culture.
Meet our guest speakers:
Jeanne Allen, with 30+ years in the nonprofit sector, will lead the discussion. She consults with nonprofits on strategy in regards to planning, board development and social media and is a frequent presenter to nonprofit audiences
