Have you experience Founder's Syndrome at your non-profit?
Many nonprofits have or will experience Founder's Syndrome. Board Source defines Founder's Syndrome as the imbalance of power in a nonprofit organization in favor of the founding executive that occurs because of the unique advantages of assembling the board and staff of the organization. This session will be a highly interactive discussion, focused on an exchange of ideas for dealing with Founder's Syndrome in different stages of an agency's lifecycle. Trudy Smith, executive director of the Executive Service Corps of the Triangle, will present with a surprise guest founder from our community.
NPRT is powered by the Executive Service Corps. Join us monthly on the second Wednesday for education topics that give you the tools you need to succeed in your business.
This event is free to attend, but registration is required. To register, click on the "Register Online" button above or email Nicholas at njohnson@carolinachamber.org. Chamber events are also open to board members and staff of Chamber member non-profit organizations!
