Speaker: Marty Saffer
Marty worked for over 30 years with Ford Motor Company in senior-level positions, directing operations and business development organizations nationally and globally. He retired as director of business development for Canada, Mexico and South America and previously held other high-level positions focused on finance, manufacturing, marketing and sales, product development and competitive strategies. After leaving Ford, Marty formed an auto auction company, and later turned his attention to higher education. He worked as an associate dean in Lehigh University’s graduate business program, where he developed and executed innovative strategies for the MBA, M.S. and Ph.D. programs, as well as for university development. Marty then served as the MBA director at the University of Wyoming (UW), where he developed new curriculums, significantly increased enrollment and profits and negotiated a $1.1 million donor gift to fund MBA international experiences.
Marty discovered ESC while living in Boston, becoming an active consultant and leading several projects with ESC of New England. During his time at Lehigh and UW, Marty led several MBA student nonprofit consulting projects, working with groups such as Catholic Charities, Western Research Institute and Troopers Drum and Bugle Corps.
Marty received his B.S. in finance and his MBA from Lehigh University.
