THIS EVENT WAS MOVED FROM WEDNESDAY OCT 8
Chamber members are invited to join us at the October Nonprofit Roundtable presented by DSI Comedy at "Grow in Carrboro".
Chamber president and CEO Aaron Nelson will give a presentation about social enterprise, social entrepreneurship, and sustainability in local organizations. Hopefully it will get the creative gears turning and get you thinking about some novel solutions to revenue generation and social impact.
We welcome our members to stay for the rest of the morning (10:30-12) which will feature a panel with social entrepreneurs and visionaries Barbara Jessie Black of PTA Thrift Shop, Van Hatchel of Extraordinary Ventures, Kevin McDonald of TROSA, and Allison Norman of Made with Love Bakery.
Grow in Carrboro is a four-morning seminar series for nonprofits and for profits based in or serving Carrboro. This seminar was put on by the the Town of Carrboro Community & Economic Development Office to promote entrepreneurship in Carrboro.
