Description
Help! Rameses has been kidnapped and we need YOUR help to find him! Chapel Hill Police report that a suspicious man dressed as a devil with blue face paint was seen in the area and is considered a person of interest. Gather your sleuth-iest friends for this scavenger hunt style race around Orange County to locate and save Rameses before it's too late. After Rameses has been found safe and sound, join your fellow racers at the Franklin Hotel for a post-race celebration and awards ceremony, complete with food, drinks, and a silent auction.
The race, hosted by the 2019 class of Leadership Chapel Hill-Carrboro, supports a new partnership between UNC Hospitals and Habitat for Humanity of Orange County that will be working to build ramps for patients unable to return home until accessibility changes are made to their homes.
Racing for Ramps is a clue-based "amazing race" through Chapel Hill and Carrboro. There should be at least 3 people per team, but this is a car-based scavenger, so teams must be able to fit into one vehicle.
The race concludes with the Racing for Ramps party at the Franklin Hotel. Join us at 6pm for food, drinks, and a Sherlock Holmes mystery themed event. Get your picture taken at our themed photobooth and bid on our silent auction items. Come for the fun, celebration, and the fundraiser!

At $35 per person, your team will be able to participate in the Racing for Ramps search for Ramses, attend our Sherlock Holmes-themed afterparty and silent auction, and get an event t-shirt. Please register as an individual, check in at the event as a team, then consolidate into a single vehicle for the event. Teams can be as large as you would like but 3 is the minimum. Remember this is a car-based event so an entire team has to fit inside 1 car.
Afterparty-only Ticket: $25
The doors for the Racing for Ramps party at the Franklin Hotel open at 6pm for food drinks and a Sherlock Holmes mystery themed event.
