Description
The Center will be partnering with Shining Light In Darkness and the Orange Resiliency Initiative to show the award-winning must-see 60-minute film Resilience: The Biology of Stress & The Science of Hope. This documentary examines how abuse, neglect, household dysfunction and other adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) affect children’s development & health outcomes in adulthood. There will be a discussion following the film about how we as a community can prevent ACEs and mitigate its’ impact.
