Description
Using the Fundamentals of Improv Comedy to Become a More Effective Communicator.
This talk will be an interactive workshop where we will use key improvisation techniques to help business professionals, such as yourself, to think on your feet, create new ideas effortlessly, actively listen to others, think divergently and work more productively inside team environments. You also may even discover you inner comedian.
Paula Pazderka is Artistic Director of the DSI Comedy Theater. She has been performing and teaching comedy for over fifteen years. She has an MFA in Creative Writing from the Art Institute of Chicago, is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and has a Masters Certificate in Project Management from the George Washington School of Business. She has conducted interactive improv workshops for professional growth for years; she has worked with Motorola, Duke University, Durham County Health Department, the Chapel Hill Chamber of Commerce, SUN (Southern University Newspapers) Conference, Leadership Triangle, Raleigh Rotary Club and most recently with The School of Government at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill.
