Description
Get On the Same Page
Are you so consumed by the day to day activities of your business that you don’t have time to lead it? Do you wish you had a systematic way to get your people all on the same page? A Strategy Map may be your answer.
A strategy map is a simple but powerful one-page strategic plan that can serve as an exceptional leadership tool for aligning effort and managing performance throughout an organization - whether large and small, business or non-profit.
In this packed presentation and discussion, Tom Stevens provides an overview of strategy maps, how business owners and leaders use them, and reviews the single most important question you need to answer to bring out the best your organization has to offer.
A seasoned leadership expert, Tom is known for cultivating fresh, unconventional, and practical perspectives that help leaders unleash personal and organizational talent. The founder of Think Leadership Ideas, Tom helps executives, business owners, and knowledge professionals to create and sustain exceptional organizations. Global corporations, universities, hospitals, small business owners, and enterprising non-profits alike have engaged Tom as a seasoned speaker, facilitator, and executive coach. Tom is a former chief executive of a family service agency, and he continues to hone his leadership skills as Mayor of Hillsborough, NC. He has helped many organizations, including the Town of Hillsborough and the Chapel Hill-Carrboro Chamber of Commerce implement strategy maps, and is launching an online course on Creating Your Strategy Map.
The Roundtable is free, but space is limited. Registration is required. To register, click on the "Register Online" button above or email Chela at ctu@carolinachamber.org.
