Going Local for the Holidays
For all the many celebrations on the horizon, there are gifts to give and preparations to make. That means a lot of us are gearing up to spend some money, but where will we shop? Our answer to that question holds some very real and important decisions, like:
- Supporting locally owned and operated businesses
- Generating sales tax within our counties
- And considering the human and environmental impacts of our footprint.
To add some local holiday cheer this season, we've compiled a list of Chapel Hill-Carrboro retail centers, and just a few of the many local holiday shopping deals and events.
