Description
Taking Care of Business | Using Web Strategy to Connect to Customers
The old online business model was simple—build a website, launch it, and watch the business roll in. Not anymore. Technological advances happen with dizzying speed, and the attention of website users is harder than ever to get—and even harder to keep. You know you need a website to connect with your customers, but a sound web strategy is crucial to future-proofing that connection.
AndiSites Inc. has grown from a one-person shop with a focus on building simple, user-friendly websites, to a thriving small business guiding prestigious clients towards their best possible online presence. AndiSites applies devotion to customers’ needs, demystification of technology, research, and cutting-edge knowledge to the creation of beautiful, easy-to-use websites accompanied by sound web strategy. From determining your initial website goals to evaluating post-launch analytics, Andi will give you actionable advice for improving your online presence and making sure that your website is helping you achieve your business goals, now and in the future.
Meet Andrea Ferguson
Andrea Ferguson (Andi) is founder and President of AndiSites, Inc., a web design and development company based in Chapel Hill, NC. She is an expert in WordPress web design and development, multi-platform communication, and online strategy.
Andi breaks the mold in an industry where less than 2% of web professionals are women over 40. Since launching AndiSites in 2008 as a one-person shop, a portfolio of one website (two if you count andisites.com), and an insatiable thirst to learn, she now has a full-time staff who design and develop with her, a portfolio of more than 200 websites, and a client list that includes major corporations and universities. Skilled and tireless, Andi loves nothing more than bringing technology down to earth and helping clients connect to their customers via the Web.
Andi is also an accomplished actress, with recurring and guest starring roles in television series and a long list of feature film credits including Twilight: Breaking Dawn and last fall’s Ender’s Game opposite Harrison Ford. She has been featured in the Huffington Post, Premier Traveler, and on the front rows of New York Fashion Week. But her proudest work moments are breaking the mold (and the rules) at AndiSites, where she and her team share the common goal of making the web a more beautiful, useful, and accessible place.
