"February: How Small Businesses Can Pay Less in Taxes"
Join us in February at Hyatt Place to hear Doreen Carter, CPA fill you in on the various tax advantages small businesses have at their disposal. You will learn about depreciation, how to correctly claim vehicle expenses and the home office deductions, and much, much more!
Doreen Carter is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), and owner of her own tax practice in Durham, NC which provides tax planning, tax preparation and business advisory services to her clients: individuals, small businesses and not-for-profit org.
Doreen has served as Corporate Compliance Officer and Director of Internal Audit. She was also an adjunct faculty at Savannah State University, teaching accounting and business. A US Army Veteran, Doreen proudly served in Desert Shield/Desert Storm as a Sergeant in the Military Police Corps.
