Description
Self-described as “a big old musical gumbo,” the Dirty Dozen Brass Band has been getting audiences on their feet and dancing for over thirty-five years. Formed in the fabled Tremé neighborhood of New Orleans (and featured on the HBO show of the same name), Dirty Dozen has been embraced enthusiastically by jam-band followers at Bonnaroo as well as by the devotees who flock to the yearly New Orleans Jazz Fest and has worked with artists from Elvis Costello to Dizzy Gillespie. This appearance at The ArtsCenter is guaranteed to be a raucous New Year’s Eve celebration!
