Join us at the Young Professionals Network and learn business etiquette with Sharon Hill, 5:30-7:30 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 12 at the BlueCross BlueShield headquarters, located at 1830 Chapel Hill Blvd., off 15-501 in Chapel Hill.
Pump Up Your Professionalism
Do you know how long it takes to form a first impression? Approximately 3 to 5 seconds. Whenever you network, you should always strive to make a positive first impression. It makes you more effective and respected.
Sharon A. Hill is an author, certified etiquette trainer (certified by the American Business Etiquette Trainers Association) and member of the National Speaker Association who is presenting an energetic and interactive session focusing on you. She is going to discuss:
- Winning handshakes
- Power of Eye Contact
- Secrets of Small Talk
- Giving and Receiving Business Cards
