Description
This month we are pleased to present our young professionals with Great Leaders, Great Results workshop with Bell Leadership at Carolina Club.
Bill Sanford will present key findings from over 40 years of research by Dr. Gerald D. Bell, a world-renowned leadership expert, author of The Achievers and co-author of The Carolina Way, and founder of Bell Leadership Institute. He will also show you show you how you can apply these powerful strategies to your own career and organization, as well as in your life outside of work.
We will explore:

- How our personalities influence our leadership strategies.
- The single greatest threat to your career – and how to overcome it.
- The six skills of the most effective leaders in the world.
- The six behavior patterns of the world’s least effective leaders.
- How to take advantage of our strengths, manage around our weaknesses and build world-class leadership strategies within our firms and families.
About the Presenter:
Recognized as a dynamic speaker, impactful trainer, and insightful coach, Bill Sanford helps leaders build themselves, their people, and their organizations to achieve meaningful, lasting results. Whether speaking to a large audience, training a group of managers, or working with senior executives, Bill engages people, gets them focused on what’s most important, and delivers productive, practical steps they can put to use immediately. There is usually plenty of laughter along the way.
He has worked with clients in a range of industries – from construction, manufacturing, and distribution to healthcare, high-tech, and banking – in addition to working in government, higher education, and the non-profit sector. He has also done extensive work with several clients in sports, ranging from college sports teams and athletic departments to the National Basketball Association (NBA).
Bill earned master’s degrees from the London School of Economics and from George Mason University’s Institute for Conflict Analysis and Resolution. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, which he attended on a Morehead Scholarship.
Bill is available as a trainer and would be delighted to present any of the seminars of the Leadership Mastery Series at your company’s next meeting.
