Residential real estate office unveils renovations and
upgrades at special ribbon-cutting ceremony

RALEIGH, N.C. – June 17, 2015 – Coldwell Banker Howard Perry and Walston (CBHPW), the leading real estate company in the Triangle area, today hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Chapel Hill-Carrboro Chamber of Commerce to announce the grand reopening of its newly-renovated Chapel Hill office located at 1600 E. Franklin St. The state-of-the-art real estate office now features more than 12,000 square feet of contemporary business space designed to increase collaboration and better serve its agents through all stages of the buying and selling processes.

“We opened this location nearly 30 years ago and our talented agents have grown it to become the top real estate office in the Chapel Hill-Carrboro market,” said Don Walston, Coldwell Banker Howard Perry and Walston founder and chairman. “We are proud to be a part of this community working together to change the face of Chapel Hill one property at a time.”

The new CBHPW Chapel Hill office offers an open design featuring social gathering spaces with comfortable seating and shared computer areas for data research and desk-side meetings. The office’s lower level was completely upfitted to add 1,700 square feet of usable space that now includes a reception area, four conferences rooms and an enhanced universal meeting space.

“Our leadership team and agents worked together for the past three years to brainstorm the use of our office space and the offerings within those spaces,” said Randy Cox, sales manager and broker-in-charge of the Coldwell Banker Howard Perry and Walston Chapel Hill office. “We’ve provided a number of different areas for our agents to conduct business in a collaborative way—a key component to success in today’s real estate market.”

The CBHPW Chapel Hill office is on track to hit 450 sales and 400 closings through the end of this month to continue its strong performance year to date. With more than 90 agents and representatives today, the office has led the Chapel Hill residential real estate market since its inception in August 1985.

“We’re excited to bring about positive change in Chapel Hill. The renovations and work we did on our own office with the support of our property manager, Windaco Properties, is simply the start,” added Cox.
